Vice President Pence Arlington Wreath Laying

Vice President Mike Pence observing Veterans Day, leading the traditional military ceremony. Placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

At the sixty-forth National Veterans Day observance at Arlington National Cemetery, Pence giving his thanks. Speaking about meeting with veterans and their families, and saying that although he has never been in uniform, he is the son of a soldier, and the proud father of a US Marine.

"We're grateful for your service. We're grateful for your sacrifice. And I'll make you a promise. Just as you fought for us, we will always fight for you."

Vice President Pence kicking off Veterans Day by joining volunteers Saturday morning to wash the Vietnam Memorial wall before the ceremonies.
