Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Makes a Stop in Eau Claire

Democratic governor candidate Matt Flynn stopped in Eau Claire Thursday to discuss his campaign.

Flynn is a Navy veteran and former chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. He also supports legalizing marijuana in the Badger State.

He said Gov. Walker is vulnerable and Wisconsinites are responding to the Democratic message. Flynn said if he's elected he'll reverse the Foxconn deal.

“I'll bring litigation to rescind the contract to terminate it on the grounds that it's unconstitutional agreement as provisions in it that are barred by our constitution as it’s an elementary principle of law here in Wisconsin that you can’t enforce an unconstitutional contract,” he said.

There will be more than a dozen candidates vying for the Democratic nomination. The Democratic Party Primary Election takes place on Aug. 14.
