Police in Eau Claire are still searching for three missing men, all who disappeared on separate occasions within the past month. Those three men are 23-year-old Blake Mares, 25-year-old Brenden Felton, and 33-year-old Byron Reece.
Mares was reported missing by his family on November 5th in Altoona. Felton was last seen October 28th on First Avenue downtown. Reece's personal property was found in Putnam Park on November 10th and his friends and family have not heard from him since.
Police say they're using canine, horses, and GPS tracking to try and locate the individuals.
"It's coming up to the holiday season and they are in our thoughts and we want to bring their family members home for them so we're going to keep investigating and keep working on it until their found. I think weather probably will probably dictate a lot of that, especially when it comes to the riverbanks when things freeze and what everybody's capabilities are for equipment."
As the gun deer season continues police won't be walking around on private hunting land for safety concerns but will be on public land or waterways.
