Coulee Region Humane Society Pet of the Week: Gloria

Meet Gloria!

Gloria is a 6-year-old, spayed female, Shih Tzu who is current on vaccinations. How can you resist that adorable face?!  Gloria is an absolute sweetheart who loves attention. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy for the upcoming chilly nights, Gloria is the girl for you!

She has accidents in her kennel occasionally so she will need consistent routine in her new home. We encourage asking an adoption counselor about crate training and for housetraining tips.

Gloria should do fine in a home with other pets given proper introductions. She could live in a home with children of any age given parental guidance and supervision.

She recently had surgery to remove some bladder stones. She needs to be kept on a prescription diet for her entire life to prevent her from developing more stones. Her new owner will need to be financially prepared to continue her special diet and will need to take her to the vet on a regular basis to make sure that she remains healthy and bladder stone free!

Visit Gloria or one of the many other animals available for adoption at the Coulee Region Humane Society from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday or 1-7 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday.
