UPDATE (8/23/2017): Investigators have found the body of Kathleen Schlosser just before 1:30 PM on Wednesday while on the Chippewa River. The Dunn County Sheriff's Office said she was found about a mile west of the County Road H bridge. When asked if there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding Schlosser's death, Captain Bygd said that it is too early to tell. (via WEAU)
Search crews continue to look for a missing woman in Dunn County near the Chippewa River. The sheriff's office says they're looking for 59-year-old Kathleen Schlosser of rural Durand.
Deputies say she was last seen yesterday afternoon northeast of Rock Falls. They say her car was found last night in the area and the search first began around 6 PM in Caryville.
According to crews at the scene, it's possible she went into the water, but the reason is unknown. The Dunn County sheriff says she was taking medication. He says they're covering all the bases.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office.
“We are also going to use Code Red put out a message to the surrounding areas we hit all the townships around here and get it out as well, we want people aware of what's going on so if they see something they can call the search has been called off for tonight, and is set to resume tomorrow morning.”
