The Buffalo county sheriff's department says drugs appear to be a factor in a one- vehicle crash that sent two to the hospital.
It happened Thursday night before 10- on highway 88- north of Church road in Gilmanton.
Deputies say 33-year old Kari Sell of Durand and her passenger, 23-year-old Allen Schultz of Mondovi, were traveling south when the vehicle left the road. The went nearly 250- feet off the shoulder of the road, before going nearly half a mile through a corn field and hitting a house.
Sell and Schultz were taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
No one in the home was hurt. Deputies say drugs appear to be a factor in the crash, but it's still under investigation.
