Wisconsin State Assembly Passes Foxconn Package

In a bi-partisan vote, the State Assembly passes a $3 billion dollar tax break package for Foxconn. The bill now goes to the Senate, where it must also pass before it goes to Governor Walker.

The vote comes three weeks after President Trump and Governor Walker announced the deal for Foxconn to invest up to $10 billion dollars on a display panel manufacturing facility in Wisconsin.

It could employ up to 13,000 people, but opponents question the cost to taxpayers and the environment.
