The exciting event will take place at U.S. Cellular’s parking lot in Onalaska, Wisconsin, located at 9348 WI-16 Suite 224, Onalaska, WI 54650 on Saturday, September 9th.

Details:

  • Participants can enter now through Friday, August 25th
  • On August 26th, FOX 25/48 will announce the 25 “semi-finalists”. These 25 semi-finalists will be asked to attend the Punt for a Pickup event at US Cellular
  • Eight finalists will showcase their punting skills at the U.S. Cellular parking lot, by attempting to punt a football into the bed of a pickup truck from 40 yards out and vie for the chance to win the coveted Ford F-150!

But that’s not all! All 25 semi-finalists will be treated to a sumptuous meal and an incredible goodie bag filled with fantastic prizes from U.S. Cellular and FOX 25/48. It’s our way of showing appreciation for your participation and enthusiasm!

The U.S. Cellular Punt for a Pickup Contest isn’t just for the finalists; it’s a celebration for the whole community! We encourage friends, family, and football fans alike to join us in cheering on the contestants and fostering a fantastic atmosphere of camaraderie and fun.

Date and Location:
The contest will take place at U.S. Cellular‘s parking lot in Onalaska, Wisconsin, located at 9348 WI-16 Suite 224, Onalaska, WI 54650. Semi-Finalist registration will begin at 11 am. Finalist announcements and kicking will begin and 12 noon!

The following classes of people shall be INELIGIBLE to participate:

  • Current or former professional or semi-professional football, soccer, and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world.
  • Current or former collegiate or junior collegiate football, soccer, and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
  • Current or former high school football, soccer, and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
  • Current or former Olympic soccer and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
  • Any person actively participating in the sporting event/tournament associated with this promotion.
  • Current or former employees, family members, agents, successors, or assignees of the client or any promotional agency involved with this promotion.

Contestants shall not be permitted any practice, warm-up, or qualifying kicks or punts, at any time after his/her notification of participation in the promotion until the actual prize attempt(s).
