$1 million donation made for Larson Performance Gallery

The Pablo Center at the Confluence in Eau Claire announces a $1 million donation to support Pablo Center’s ongoing programming and sustainability, through a capital campaign contribution.

The donation was made by Richard and Marcia Larson.

The Larsons say they hope their contribution leads to more gifts to help solidify the long-term success of the Pablo Center.

Executive Director Jason Jon Anderson says the gift will be used to increase youth and family offerings at the center.

In honor of the large donation, the Pablo Center will name the third-floor community rehearsal space the “Richard and Marcia Larson Performance Gallery.”

A release from Pablo Center officials says the gift is tied to Richard Larson’s long-term business partner, the late Dan Clumpner of Commonweal Development.

The second season for the Pablo Center begins Sept. 26.
