The Boy Scouts of America, Gateway Area Council invites all families to the 7th Annual Alcohol-Free/Smoke-Free Family Zone at the Oktoberfest Maple Leaf Parade on September 30th.

The Gateway Area Council is hosting the 7th Annual Family Zone at the Oktoberfest Maple Leaf Parade on Saturday, September 30, 2017.  The Family Zone is located on the west side of Copeland Avenue, across from Festival Foods and is marked with snow fence for visibility.

The Family Zone is open to the public and all ages are welcome.  It is free of charge and no wristbands, tickets, or reservations are needed.  No alcohol, tobacco, or smoking is permitted in the Family Zone.

The Family Zone will be open at 7:30 AM.  Boulevard and bleacher seating may not be reserved before 7:30 AM.  Parking is available in nearby lots but not on the Family Zone site.

Bleachers are provided, but parade watchers are welcome to bring their own chairs/blankets to sit on. The Family Zone does include the boulevard. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.  Free t-shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis for children and adults at the Family Zone.

Activities within the Family Zone will include: Big E Bounce House, Ga-Ga Ball (Dodge Ball Hybrid), Basketball game, Face Painting, and additional activities
