The Labor Department says that claims for unemployment benefits have dropped to a new low. The number of Americans seeking unemployment benefits last week plummeted to 184 thousand. It once again touches the lowest level reported since September 1969. Meanwhile, as of October, the nation had 11 million jobs available and not enough people to fill them.
A company claims to have created the world’s largest lab-grown steak. It was made by MeaTech 3-D. The company says 3.67-ounce steak was made using real bovine cells that mature into muscle and fat. The company then used 3-D printing, where stem cells taken from cow tissue were incorporated into “bio-inks” that were layered and matured in an incubator. The steel was even able to produce grill marks when cooked. MeaTech says it hopes to start marketing its products next year, with a pilot program, to sell cultured fat as an ingredient for other products.

It’s available at barefootwine.com/oreothins – until supplies run out.
