The National FFA Convention and Expo is kicking off next week, but it will look a little different this year. The 93rd National FFA Convention and Expo will be all virtual this year! The current national officers are from Ohio, Oregon, Montana, Virginia, and Puerto Rico. We caught up with some of them as they planned for a different kind of convention. Yomar Roman said, “Our goal is to relly create an amazing and unique national convention reality. The expo starts Tuesday and runs through Thursday.
We’ve heard how hard restaurants have been hit by the pandemic, but apparently, more people are opening food-related businesses, and they’re doing it at a pre-pandemic clip. That’s according to Yelp, which allows people to review businesses online. You see that demonstrated in this graphic. Yelp says its data is based on new businesses listing on its site. It says the new eateries are using features, such as large patios, spaced-out tables, order- ahead menus, and efficient-service cuisine. These new businesses include farmers markets, food trucks, and pop-up restaurants.
First, we told you about a mask that looked and smelled like bacon. Now you can get one that smells like chicken. Jack In The Box is giving them away to promote the fast-food chain’s new chicken sandwich. As you can see, it’s decorated with the sandwich, smiley faces, and the company logo. They are now available for free on the chain’s website, but only while supplies last.
