U-S inflation accelerated last month…at the fastest pace in 13- years. Experts say demand drove up the price of vehicles, airfare, and a host of other things. The Labor Department said last month’s consumer-price index increased 5-point-4-percent from a year earlier. Food prices were up 2.4 percent last month. Ag economist Jayson Lusk of Purdue University says the rise is due to Americans returning to eating out. He says meat, poultry, fish, and eggs are the big drivers of the overall increase in the price of food at home.
A new study shows eating three servings of whole grains a day — along with a nutritious diet — can have health benefits as we get older. Researchers at Tufts University found such foods can help control weight — blood pressure — and blood sugar levels. They followed thirty-one- hundred people in the ’50s for eighteen years with this research.

If it sounds like the job for you, just submit a video, to McCormick’s website, no longer than two minutes. The deadline is next Tuesday.
