Arcadia Receives Federal Aid for Flooding


Flood proned arcadia receives some much-needed aid from the federal government.

Commerce secretary Wilbur Ross announced a $4.3 million grant to the City of Arcadia.

The grant would build new infrastructure to prevent the city’s commercial areas from flooding.

Ross says the investment will build resilience for the city’s thriving industry.

In a statement, representative Ron Kind praised the investment, saying it offers economic security to businesses on the Trempealeau River.
