The Wisconsin Badgers will kick off their season as they face college football power house Alabama down in Arlington, Texas.
The Badgers come into the game ranked 20th in the nation, while the Crimson Tide are ranked third. It’s a tough test to open the season for the Badgers and a win would instantly propel them into the national title hunt, but the badgers are staying focused on Alabama and this weekends contest.
Sojourn Shelton Defensive Back: “If we do what we have to do , hopefully we are in that discussion. We don’t want to look down the road too far. You have to respect every opponent that is on your schedule and understand every game comes with it’s own challenges and at the end of the season you just put it all together and see where you are at, but we have been working hard so we expect great results.”
Joel Stave Quarterback: “The ultimate goal is to win games, touchdowns and passing yards are going to come and all that stuff that comes with playing the game. We put in all the time and the effort to win games and my goal is to help this team win as many games as we can.”
