A state senate committee has passed a bill that would allow gun deer hunters to wear blaze pink.
The measure passed on a 5-to-2 vote.

The bill would allow hunters to wear fluorescent pink, in addition to the traditional blaze orange.

Supporters say the measure would help draw more women into hunting but some say the bill is sexist.

The senate committee’s approval clears the way for a full vote on the senate floor.

The assembly passed the bill in November.
