A community came together Sunday to raise funds to help feed those in need.
The Bloomer New Auburn Area Food Pantry hosted its annual pancake and sausage breakfast fundraiser.
The event took place at the Bloomer Senior Civic Center.
This is the 11th year for the fundraiser, and new this year was a bake sale to help get even more participation from community members.
Sunday’s fundraiser also included a raffle and a silent auction.
All proceeds from the event will go to purchasing food for the food pantry.
“We as a food pantry serving the Bloomer, New Auburn School Districts, have been in several locations. In 2013 we formed the committee and since then, we own our own building,” said Bloomer New Auburn Area Food Pantry Board President Donald Granger.
The food pantry building is located at 808 Jackson Street in Bloomer.
The food pantry is open every Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. or whenever a community need arises.
