Brewers Fall To Dodgers

It’s been a tough go-around for the Milwaukee Brewers this season, but today the Crew tried to win back to back series for the first times since August 9th last year.  Mike Fiers taking the hill for the final of the four game series.  But the Los Angeles Dodgers had other ideas.  1-0 Brewers in the second until Alex Guerrero takes Mike Fiers to left and gone. Game tied at 1…now 3-1 Dodgers in the 4th.  Adam Lind continuing to be the best bat for the Brewers early on.  His 6th home run. Brewers cut the lead to 3-2. But the Dodgers just keep stacking on the runs. Now up 5-3…Yasmani Grandal to right. That scores two more. Dodgers would tack on another touchdowns worth of runs as the beat the Brewers 14-4. Brewers open a series with the Cubs tomorrow. The Cubs trying to salvage a split of their 4 game series with St. Louis.-bottom 2nd, already 1-0 Cardinals…They are about to add to it as Peter Bourjos doubles down the left field line…Jason Heyward scores..2-0 St. Louis. Later in the 4th….Cards pitcher John Lackey had two career RBI entering this at bat….He doubles to right. Two runs score…one earned… Cardinals roll to the 5-1 win.
