Chippewa Falls School District at home learning plan

Local News

As of Wednesday, there is still only one confirmed COVID-19 case in Chippewa County.

Civic leaders there held a briefing this morning to further address how they’re fighting the spread of the virus.

Chippewa falls’ police chief also addressed the aspect of enforcing Gov. Evers’ “safer at home order”.

This was to have been spring break for many students .and the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District says, moving forward, it will continue with its “at-home learning plan”.

“We’ll transition from the short-term at-home learning plan to our longer-term virtual plan on April 8th. Parents will receive information about this next week, including how to access technology devices, resources for internet service, and paper copies if needed. We will also continue to support school-based mental health Services during the closure, to ensure that students are able to access their appointments and families are able to get their resources and supports they need during this time,” said Chippewa Falls superintendent, Dr. Heidi Eliopoulus.
