It was a chance Sunday for some to sing and help those in need.
The Chippewa Valley Area Singers Involved in Neighborhood Giving (CVASing) performed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. The group held two concerts – both, raising money for Feed My People food bank.
“There are number of people that do this once a year and this is a big deal. For some of us to do a number of things, it’s still just a thrill,” Warren Hermodson, the manager of CVASing, said. “We know what we’re doing. One voice, collected with 90 singers produces a completely different sound and it’s one of those chances that we have to just revel in the whole experience.”
This year’s annual concerts were titled “Come to the Water,” with all of the selections containing a water theme. The concerts raised roughly $6,000 for Feed My People.
