The NFL is suspending Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady for the first 4 games of the 2015 season. In a statement this afternoon, the league said Brady will be suspended for conduct detrimental to the integrity of the NFL.
Brady will be able to take part in training camp and play in pre-season games. The team will also be fined $1 million and will forfeit a 2016 first round draft pick.
An investigator’s report on the scandal known as deflate-gate concluded Brady was “probably” aware that team personnel let air out of footballs for a playoff game. Brady would return for the Patriots week five game against Indianapolis in mid-October.
