People inspired their inner artists at an event held to benefit Junior Achievement. The fundraiser for Wisconsin’s northwest district of Junior Achievement was held today at Cheers Pablo. Participants got to paint with the help of an instructor, enjoy food, and buy raffle tickets.
Around 80 people registered for today’s painting sessions. All proceeds go to junior achievement.
Junior Achievement Director Susan Peter: “I think it’s an opportunity to blend a little bit of art because we’re all artists, and have fun and we’re educating that way and then also just getting a taste for that but hopefully intriguing some people to want to step into the classroom.”
Wisconsin’s northwest district of Junior Achievement educated more than 16 thousand students last year with the help of more than 730 volunteers and 651 teachers.
