A tense scene at the Club Blu in Fort Myers, Florida, following a shootout that left at least two people dead and more than a dozen wounded.
It happened during a party for teenagers called the “swimsuit glow party.” Some of the victims as young as twelve years old. The shooting comes six weeks after the terror attack at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
But, law enforcement officials tell FOX last night’s shooting appears to be gang related, with no apparent connection to any known terror groups at this time.
Still, the shooting has the community rattled and calling for action.
Police say three suspects are in custody and the area around the nightclub is secure. Representatives from the club say the shooting happened as parents were arriving to pick up their kids — and, armed security was present at the event.
