In Indonesia — recovery efforts are in full swing following a devastating tsunami. Carita beach among the hardest hit. Locals seen trying to salvage what they could. Many left with nothing. Some local fishermen are said they are still fearful of going to back out to sea as the conditions were still considered dangerous. The deadly tsunami – which affected western Java and southern Sumatra – is believed to have been triggered by a chunk of volcano slipping into the ocean. At least four-hundred twenty nine people were killed, with another fourteen-hundred reported injured.
