The man who admitted to kidnapping 13-year old Jayme Closs in October and killing her parents has been moved to a different jail.
Jake Patterson was moved on Monday from the Barron County Jail to a nearby jail in Polk County.
Jayme was missing for 88 days before she escaped Patterson’s home in Gordon, Wisconsin on January 10.
Patterson told investigators he first saw Jayme when she was getting on a school bus, weeks before the abduction.
He said he drove to the Closs home twice with the intent to kidnap Jayme prior to October 15, but didn’t go through with it.
Patterson is charged with kidnapping and two counts of 1st degree intentional homicide.
