CHIPPEWA FALLS Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Chippewa Falls swimming pool may have more seasons in its future. Parks and Rec Director John Jimenez says no final decisions have been made in relation to the future of the pool.

He says since a Common Council meeting in early May, an additional quote was gathered to replace the filtration system as well as the pumps in the mechanical room. Those updates would extend the life of the pool for two to three years.

He says this would allow the city time to create an action plan to address all the facility’s needs. The pool opened for the summer last weekend.
