Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Minnesota man will serve six months in jail in connection with a fatal ATV crash in Rusk County in 2019. Monday, in Rusk County court, 29-year-old Brennon Plaisted entered into a plea agreement by pleading guilty to two misdemeanors, reckless driving causing great bodily harm and resisting or obstructing an officer.
A felony count of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle was deferred but could be reinstated if Plaisted does not meet all the conditions. Plaisted was arrested in September 2019 after officials pronounced 28-year-old Alan Hanson dead at the scene of an ATV crash. Another man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
