While the Packers did not represent the NFC in tonight’s Super Bowl, football fans that watched were treated to not only an amazing halftime show with Lady Gaga, but arguably the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history. Fox 25/48’s Neil Hebert is live in Eau Claire with more.
What an exciting game it turned out to be. The Falcons looked good early and the Patriots came back strong. Fans all over the Chippewa Valley were watching at parties, at home, and out at restaurants, and bars. Aaron Rodgers has one Super Bowl win and the people I spoke with say he should be in consideration as one of the best, but they know he won’t unless he catches up to Brady.
Well he’s got his work cut out for him. He now needs 4 to just tie Brady. There were a couple Patriot’s fans watching at Dooley’s until it was all said and done and boy, you probably can’t find a happier guy in the Chippewa Valley than Nick Kernstock, who says it’s tough being a Patriot’s fan in Wisconsin, but he loves them and their winning ways.
“My hands are shaking this is unbelievable it has been an incredible year. I just love it the winning mentality, it’s always the next one its always pushing yourself and doing your job it’s just the Patriot way.”
Well, Matt Ryan will have to wait until next year for a shot at winning his first Super Bowl, along with the other 30 quarterbacks in the NFL that are living in Tom Brady’s shadow.
