WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash Saturday evening. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department says the crash took place just after 7 south of Wisconsin Rapids

An investigation showed a vehicle on Highway 73 was turning onto Highway U when it was hit by another vehicle going the other way on 73. The vehicle that was turning was tipped over onto its roof, but the driver inside was not injured. The two people in the other vehicle were both taken to the hospital for their injuries.

The crash is still being investigated.
