TAYLOR COUNTY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A 20-year-old Medford man has died from his injuries after a car he was in, flipped over going 100 miles per hour.
Saturday evening, authorities found an overturned mini cooper on county highway m near Sailor Creek Road in Taylor County.
According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s office.
While traveling at 100 miles per hour, the car came to a curve in the road, the driver lost control and the car flipped into a ditch.
Hunter Ried was unconscious in the back seat. Taken to the hospital where he later died.
The driver and another passenger were taken to the hospital but later released.
Ried was wearing a seatbelt.
Authorities don’t believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
