Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – On Thursday, October 13th, Downtown La Crosse Rotary will be hosting its weekly meeting at the Erickson Boys & Girls Club to update the community on Al’s Musky Challenge and present a check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.

Al’s Musky Challenge is a Downtown La Crosse Annual Rotary Project that ran this year from July 21 to September 22. Rotarian Al Louis fished in Minnesota’s Lake Vermilion while raising money for area youth! This year’s event proceeds are being split – 50% is benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse and 50% is being invested in Al’s Musky Challenge endowment to provide long lasting impact on the youth in our community.

We invite you to join us for a BIG reveal of this record setting year! Are you wondering how many musky Al was able to reel in or how much money was raised? Find out on October 13! Plus, you will not want to miss a special surprise from both Al Louis and Jake Erickson.
