EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A 24-year-old Eau Claire man is arrested on suspicion of possessing child porn.
The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brent Nicolet.
A charge of possession of child porn is being recommended to the district attorney’s office.
An initial court appearance for Nicolet is set for Tuesday morning at 11.
Nicolet was a staff member of the Metropolis Resort at the time of his arrest.
In a statement to First News at Nine this afternoon, the Metropolis says he no longer works there.
The resort goes on to say it had no knowledge of the situation, and it appears the actions Nicolet is accused of took place off-site.
