ALTOONA, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Court hearings continue for an Altoona man facing charges for his alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting death last year. 28-year-old Jamon Sullivan is facing multiple charges, including First Degree Intentional Homicide as party to a crime in the death of Christopher Conner of Altoona. In September 2022, Eau Claire Police say Conner was found with a gunshot wound near the intersection of Bergen and Bellevue avenues, and later died at a hospital. 3 other people are also facing charges in Conner’s death.
The court found there was probable cause that a felony was committed and that Sullivan was involved. The defense argued there was no probable cause, and tried to get the case thrown out, but the court has proceeded.
A motion hearing is scheduled for October 31st.
