Hundreds of “Black Lives Matter” supporters took to the streets of St. Paul this morning, marching outside of the Minnesota State Fair. The event is being called “Black Fair” by organizers.
The group is protesting the Minnesota state fair, which it says hasn’t been supportive of minority vendors and visitors. One organizer said the group wants the governor to reopen the investigation into the police-involved shooting death of Marcus Golden.
City officials expect the protests to remain peaceful, but have posted extra police officers.
