BLOOMER, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Bloomer School District employee is charged with sexually assaulting a student.

22-year-old Noah Lane of Bloomer faces two counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff.

The 16-year-old victim in the case told bloomer police officers she had sex with the Middle School Special Education Paraprofessional in December 2020.

He faces a maximum fine of 20-thousand dollars and 12 years in prison.

The Bloomer School District Superintendent says lane is currently on unpaid leave.
