Bond set at $1M for Clark County man charged with missing woman’s murder

Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A one-million-dollar cash bond is set today for Jesus Contreras Perez.

He’s the man accused of stalking and killing his child’s mother.

Contreras Perez made an initial appearance in Clark County Court.

He’s charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking resulting in bodily harm tied to the disappearance of Cassandra Ayon.

She was last seen in October, when she left a friend’s house.

Authorities say Contreras Perez’s google search history includes “how to make a homemade silencer” and “what a silencer really sounds like.”

He is expected to learn on june 23rd if his case will head to trial.
