BUFFALO COUNTY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – One count of first-degree intentional homicide is filed against a Buffalo County man in the death of his wife.
38-year-old Jonathan Medeiros of Nelson is being held on a 500- thousand-dollar cash bond. A preliminary hearing is set for February 5.
A criminal complaint released by the Wisconsin Department of Justice says Medeiros called police Sunday to say he shot and killed a woman.
When deputies arrived, they found his wife – 38-year-old Jolene Medeiros.
Jonathan Medeiros told investigators he got out of bed, grabbed a shotgun and shot twice.
