Chippewa Falls woman being held on $1 million cash bond in connection husbands murder

Local News

A Chippewa Falls woman, who alleges to have found her dead husband more than a decade ago, is now being held in connection to his homicide.

Cindy Schulz- Juedes, 65, appeared in Marathon County court for a probable cause hearing.

In 2006, she told law enforcement officers she found her then-husband, Ken, in August of 2006 dead with two shotgun wounds.

During a 2011 interview with a TV station in Wausau, she said she told authorities she didn’t know what happened to Ken because she didn’t sleep in the couple’s Colby-area home that night. She said slept in a camper on the property because she had a sinus infection.

No formal charges have been filed yet. Schulz- Juedes is being held on a $1 million cash bond.
