City of La Crosse to reopen Houska Dog Park

Local News

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Thursday was National Rescue Dog Day, and the city of La Crosse is celebrating by announcing the reopening of a favorite spot for furry friends.

The large part within the Houska Dog Park will be re-opening Monday, May 24.

It had been closed in 2020 for construction of new improvements.

New features include a dog barrel, weaving posts, a jumping bar, and a running ramp.

And of course, I had to include a picture there of my rescue pup Zobrist, the cutest little lab beagle that you ever have seen.
