CLARK COUNTY Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A man involved in a fatal drunk-driving crash in Clark County will serve time in prison. 30-year-old Trenton Bemis of Humbird was sentenced yesterday in Clark County court to 15 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.

In October, he pleaded no contest to two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. In December 2017, the pickup Bemis was driving crossed the center line and crashed into another vehicle, killing 29-year-old Michelle Kunze and her passenger 35-year-old Genie Carillo, both of Neillsville. Investigators say Bemis had an alcohol level more than four times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
