Both the state and the defense rested their cases Thursday morning in the Ezra McCandless homicide trial in Dunn County.
She’s charged in the death of 24-year-old Alex Woodworth in March 2018.
The jury was released for the rest of the day and will hear closing arguments Today (Friday).
Judge James Peterson says the instructions the jury will receive will allow them to also consider 2nd degree intentional and 1st and 2nd degree reckless homicide.
Judge Peterson says he hasn’t decided on sequestering the jury during the weekend but told lawyers he’s leaning against doing that.
