The La Crosse Area Planning Committee has launched a community survey seeking input on the regional public transit system.

The survey is one part of the Regional Transit Development Plan, which will provide a vision for transit over the next ten years. Input from the survey will help planners understand how riders use the existing public transit system, and what barriers prevent others from joining them.
“Whether you take the bus to work every day, occasionally, or not at all, your input is valuable,” said Peter Fletcher, Executive Director of the La Crosse Area Planning Committee. “We want to understand how people use our public transit system, and what we can do to make it better.”
The survey includes an interactive map, where participants can highlight areas they think need new or improved bus services. The survey also will be used to provide customer service feedback to the La Crosse Municipal Transit Utility, Onalaska Shared Ride, and Scenic Mississippi Regional Transit.
