Chippewa County has a plan of vaccinating one thousand people per week. Public Health Director Angela Weideman says the county is meeting that goal.
Weideman said, “As of January 5 there were just over 1 thousand people that had vaccines that were Chippewa County residents and then a week later on January 12 it was at 2 thousand so right now we are keeping up with giving 1 thousand doses per week jointly between public health, hospitals, and health systems and the pharmacy program that exists for long term care facilities.”
