LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting just under 4-thousand new cases of COVID-19 today.
This brings the total in the state to nearly 385 thousand.
Of those cases, DHS says about 73-thousand of them are active, and 81 percent of them are considered recovered.
22 more deaths are reported today, bringing the death toll to more than 33-hundred. An additional 117 Wisconsinites were also hospitalized.
Taking a look around the area, Eau Claire County is reporting 95 new cases today, the total in the county now stands at nearly 7,800.
Chippewa County reports 63 new cases, its total now sits at nearly 46-hundred.
Dunn County sees an increase of 25, pushing their total to nearly 28-hundred.
Barron County tacks on 22 cases, the total in the county is nearly 3,600.
La Crosse County adds 105 cases, pushing the total in the county past 8-thousand.
