LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Three more community vaccination sites are coming to the Coulee Region thanks to the Vang Council of La Crosse.

Anyone still in need of their dose can go to the Omni Center in Onalaska this Saturday, April 24 from 9 am to 1 pm.  The site will also be open on May 15tand June 5with additional dates added depending on supply.

You can call the number on your screen to schedule a vaccine appointment Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

A limited number of walk ins will be allowed this Saturday.

Today, Wisconsin passed 4 million COVID-19 vaccine doses given out, which includes 29.7 of the state’s population now being fully inoculated.

Eau Claire County’s total of finished shots in the arm rose to 32.6. Chippewa County cracked 30 percent fully vaccinated mark today. La Crosse County moves up to 33.7 and Dunn County has vaccinated 23.3 percent of its residents.

State DHS reported 732 new cases of COVID-19 spread among 64 counties. The 7-day positivity average among all test results fell to 3.3 percent.

Wisconsin’s overall fatality count increased by 4, including one new death in Trempealeau County. Eau Claire County’s total cases went up today by 5. Chippewa County tacked on 3 new positive tests. La Crosse County’s total rose by 17, their highest 1-day rise in nearly three weeks. Dunn County’s COVID-19 case count increased by 6.
