LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Today, the Wisconsin Department Of Health Services put out some concerning stats on the state’s fight against COVID-19.
In the past two weeks, the 7-day average of new confirmed cases of the virus has increased 160 percent.
New cases are up from an average of 60 a day on July 5 to 156 through today.
The 7-day positivity rate by the test is more than two percent – the highest since the end of May.
The percentage of Wisconsinites fully vaccinated is 48.7.
Eau Claire County’s inoculation percentage is 50-point-3.
In Chippewa County, 44.9 percent of the population finishes shots in arms. The vaccinated percentage in La Crosse County is 55. 38.9 percent of people living in Dunn County are fully vaccinated.
