COVID-19 daily update: Cases, deaths, vaccination rates in Wisconsin, La Crosse, Eau Claire (June 9, 2021)

LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Data from the State Department of Health Services is showing the percent of Wisconsin’s population being fully vaccinated exceeds or matches the percent receiving a dose.

This means there are more people getting their last “shot in the arm” than people starting the vaccination process.

43.2 percent of Wisconsin’s population has now finished the vaccination process. This includes close to 84-hundred more people added today.

Eau Claire County sits tonight at 46.1 percent of its population fully vaccinated. Chippewa County moves up to 41.3 percent. La Crosse County’s total of inoculated community members jumps up to 49.6 percent and Dunn County now has 35.2 percent of its population fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Zorn Arena is changing its hours.

Starting. Wednesday, the clinic on the UW-Eau Claire Campus will be open on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am until 1 pm.

Zorn Arena offers the Pfizer vaccine for anyone 12 years old and older.

For those 18 and older, you can choose to get the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
