LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – As for covid, more people are testing positive and two more lives taken by the disease in Wisconsin.

The department of health services updated the number of people getting tested. Testing positive and getting vaccinated.

On the vaccination front, more than 70-thousand adults in the badger state received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Just over half of Wisconsinites are fully vaccinated.

A reminder that if you haven’t been vaccinated and choose to get protected before September 19th you could get a 100-dollar gift card from the state.

Also, across Wisconsin more than 17-hundred new cases of covid have been reported.

With nearly 300 probable cases still waiting for final results.

The seven-day average of COVID-19 tests in the badger state are returning at a rate of 8-percent positive.
