LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Kwik Trip officials are giving an update on a system outage that occurred last week. Vice President of External Relations John McHugh said in a statement that Kwik Trip experienced a cybersecurity incident on October 9th. The incident caused disruption to systems on the company’s internal network.

McHugh says systems that were impacted related to production facilities in La Crosse, communication systems within the company, and the Loyalty Program. As of now, there’s no indication guest’s payment card information was involved. The investigation is ongoing and in its early stages.
