ANSON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Chippewa County Saturday night. According to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened on county Highway S in the town of Anson around 9:20 p.m.

The release states witnesses saw a vehicle speeding in the area. Evidence shows the vehicle was unable to complete a curve. Left the road and hit a large oak tree. The driver was identified as 21-year-old Brianna Luree Beck. Beck died at the scene.
